GeoConstruct Inspection Services provides high-quality geotechnical inspection services mostly in collaboration with licensed geotechnical consulting firms. We offer City of Los Angeles Deputy Grading Inspectors (LADGI), geotechnical soil technicians and geologists. Our work blends technical skill, field intuition, and leadership to build strong partnerships and ensure successful project outcomes.

We also specialize in geological and geotechnical evaluations for construction and development projects—conducting preliminary geotechnical investigations & construction phase-inspections which help guide safe, efficient, and sustainable building practices.

With over 28 years of experience, GeoConstruct was created to support the dynamic needs of the geotechnical consulting industry. Our deep field expertise allows us to deliver reliable, site-specific solutions across a wide range of projects.

We take ownership of every task and represent your firm with integrity—committed to quality, communication, and accountability throughout every phase of the project.

We have a Team of:

  • 8 deputy grading inspectors
  • 5 geotechnical soil technicians
  • 1 full-time and 2 part-time geologists

Beginning in 1997, GeoResources was formed by Will Shofner as an independent contracting firm providing independent geologic, geotechnical soil technician and City of Los Angels Deputy Grading Inspection (LADGI) services to over 85 licensed geotechnical and environmental consulting firms. In 2018, the experience from running GeoResources 21 years, assisted in developing GeoConstruct Inspection Services. GeoConstruct Inspection Services has become a multi-task geotechnical firm to over 45 geotechnical firms, with a team of professionals to support the needs of the geotechnical-consulting industries.
